What are the faces of a pyramid?
A pyramid is a solid figure.
A pyramid has a flat base and triangular flat side faces that meet at a single point called the apex. Unlike a prism, a pyramid has only one base.
The base of a pyramid can be any polygon, such as a triangle, square, or rectangle.
The number of triangular side faces corresponds to the number of sides on the base. For instance, a triangular pyramid, also known as a tetrahedron, has a triangular base and three triangular side faces. A square pyramid has a square base and four triangular side faces.
